We are so proud to announce that Montenegro by Negro x Wochenshow (WolkentanzII/Donnerhall/PikBube) has been purchased by Teresa Fickling of Macon, Georgia. Teresa is a beautiful GP rider and we are thrilled that she fell in love with our Monty and we look forward to following their progress.

"Meeting and working with Sherry Smith of Dogwood Sport Horses has been an absolute delight. I have to admit that I had not started actively looking for a new horse when a friend shared a video of Montenegro, a three-year-old by the amazing Negro out of Sherry‘s mare Wochenshow (aka Willow)by Wolkentanz II , who has a very impressive pedigree herself.  I could not resist looking at a horse of that caliber.  I currently have two FEI level horses that were imported and as one of them has indicated that he might retire sooner rather than later I asked Sherry if I could meet “Monty”. It was love at first sight (on my end anyway)!
Sherry breeds champion bloodlines that one would only think to find in Europe but she lives just over an hour away for me in Georgia. Her horses are raised in big open fields to allow them the opportunity to build strong bones, tendons and ligaments and also to grow up the way a horse should.

Monty‘s brain is almost too good to be true and he hasn’t put a foot out of place since I brought him home. I cannot say enough good things about Sherry! I wish I had met her sooner and I am so excited to see what the future holds for Montenegro and me!"
