“Quintessential Hit couldn't be more appropriately named. He is truly the best horse that I have ever sat on, and he is pretty much quintessential. He is beautiful and well built, he has three super gaits, and he has an incredibly generous and kind disposition. To top it all off, he is incredibly smart and very sensitive. He is a trier to the core. I fell in love with him from the first time that I set eyes on him as a foal, and I have believed in him from the very beginning.

Now, as he is coming into his own in the training, he is getting rave reviews from every person who sets eyes on him. First and foremost, he has been highly praised by Charlotte Dujardin (Article Link), who called him a very exciting and special horse with three outstanding paces! Every person who I've ridden in front of has heaped the praise on him, and I usually hear that they would like to take him home with them. These trainers include Anne Gribbons, Sabine Schut-Kery, Christine Traurig, and Scott Hassler, who have all seen him in action.

But, I believe that there is more to him than just who he is...I really believe that Sherry Smith's approach to raising horses is the right approach.
